I grew up in a family business, working alongside my parents from age five into my mid-twenties. That experience gave me an early appreciation for hard work, customer relationships, and the challenges small business owners face.
After graduating college, I pursued my passion for athletics with the Baltimore Orioles, serving as a professional athletic trainer (ATC) and strength and conditioning coach. From there, I transitioned into healthcare, working as an orthopedic surgical sales representative and medical sales professional. These roles taught me how to build trust, communicate complex solutions, and deliver value in high-stakes environments.
I later entered the financial sector as a banking appraiser and asset manager, gaining firsthand experience in asset protection and financial risk management—until the 2009 housing collapse forced me to make another career change. Returning to my roots, I worked in the contracting and recreation industry in several capacities, continuing to learn how businesses grow, adapt, and overcome obstacles.
Then life tested me in a more personal way. A cancer diagnosis reshaped my perspective and inspired me to help others facing challenges of their own. I saw how vulnerable many families and small businesses can be without the right protection in place. That’s when I chose to become an independent insurance agent.
Today, I combine the lessons from my diverse career—sports, healthcare, finance, contracting, and small business—with a commitment to integrity, honesty, and service. My goal is simple: to protect what matters most for the people and businesses I serve, giving them the freedom and confidence to focus on their future.
“Farming runs deep in my family. My mother, a first-generation Polish immigrant, often joked that she held the world record for picking a bushel of string beans. That legacy of hard work, dedication, and a strong sense of family is something I carry with me every day.”
“Farming has come a long way — from picking string beans by hand to today’s automated tractors. With modern operations comes the need for stronger, more comprehensive insurance to protect both farm assets and the family behind them.”
Farmers today face rising input costs, climate risks driving up crop insurance premiums, and succession challenges as many near retirement. Market volatility and debt pressures threaten cash flow, while new regulations and liability concerns add risk. Technology brings efficiency but also cyber and equipment vulnerabilities. At the same time, protecting the family with life, disability, and healthcare coverage remains essential. Together, these factors make comprehensive financial and insurance planning more critical than ever.
Farmers value family — and the public values farmers. That trust runs deep, which is why insurance agents who serve the agricultural community must be equally trusted and knowledgeable. When was the last time you had your insurance policy evaluated? Is your current agent truly a specialist in farm and ag operations, and what do they bring to the table to protect your livelihood? Choosing the right partner makes all the difference in safeguarding your farm, your assets, and your family’s future. Call or email me today for a FREE evaluation of your policy.
